Blessed

Saturday was a family filled day.  Chelsey and both kids came over and filled the day with laughter then around 2PM Colt and Jennifer along with their two, Grady and Conley came over too.  The older three played in Colt & Jennifer's slip and slide/pool.  The boys played hard all day.  Found sticks which became swords - It is an absolute joyful blessing to watch the grandkids, their minds, their thought patterns, their expressions, their enthusiasm, their interest, their communication, their imagination, their energy, their hugs, their attempts, . . . I can go on and on.

Unfortunately PawPaw was hauling hay all day and all night.  He missed most of the play.  But, when he came home, oh the sounds of the boys calling to their PawPaw/Pooter filled the air and although worn to the bone and wanting to just lay down, he plays with them.

Friday night - ate dinner at the Mexican Restaurant by Chelsey & Kenneth.  New fence is up, hallelujah - privacy again.  First 100° summer 2015 day is expected this weekend. Whoopee.

Rick is planning to haul hay tomorrow - all day long.

Plain & Fancy

Finally finished Sunday night around 11:40PM.  WooHoo, Tumbling.  Because I did not like the backing that came with the quilt, might as well use muslin, I am now needing backing fabric and think I'll do the angled strip binding.  Will see - so excited to have this one down and done.

What a blessing you are. You have brought such peace to Granny.   I have to include a snapshot of your terrifically fun brother with the moment captured when he first met you.
Welcome to the family sweetheart.

with 2015

Work is requiring a lot more activities for our insurance coverage.  The increased activity is supposed to decrease the monthly premiums.  So, in regard to this recently I have taken to walking again.  For one of the requirements I participated in an event and walked a 5K sponsored by the DECA at MHS.  With this event accomplished I have all but one requirement fulfilled for 2015.

Working on the Plain & Fancy BOM.  Purchased an AccuQuilt Go.  Need to open the box and begin to get familiar with it but as usual, skeered.

Looking forward to the long weekend - due to MLK day we have Monday off - hopefully it will be quite around the house and I'll be able to get some 'me' time!  Maybe get caught up on the quilt block of the month and begin on Bonnie Hunter's 2014 Mystery Quilt.
Thanks goodness, the baby is fine.
Chelsey had a severe bladder infection and with a round of antibiotics she and Cheyenne will be wonderful.  Cannot wait until June to get a face to face with this new grandgirl.

Chelsey just called and stated that at 20 weeks pregnant she was cramping and had bloody urine.  I am stuck here at work and so very frustratingly concerned for she and Kenneth.  Tears fill my eyes regularly.  I have talked to Rick - he knows.   We just went to the Dr. last week for a sonogram, heart rate and all measurements were good.
